Define the load profile
List all loads, current draw, expected operating hours, inverter efficiency, and reserve capacity. A system that only powers lighting is very different from one that supports electric air conditioning during hot nights. Charging source also matters: alternator, shore power, solar assist, or dedicated charger will shape the battery design.
